Josiah is turning 18 tomorrow and we're doing a birthday party for him. So . . . the order of the last few days has been intensive cleaning. We have worked so incredibly hard. :) I'm exhausted!!
Today Mom and Dad drove to Dad's late parents' house to help go through their stuff. I am so excited about a piece of furniture that we got. It is an old library cabinet that my grandparents got from the county courthouse in the 1940s. It is so beautiful. :) It was made by a company called Globe-Wernicke. Here is a picture of a similar one from their website.
It was so much fun to put books and pictures inside and decorate it. I'll have to try to post a picture of it soon. Also, hopefully there will be pictures coming from the party, too! :)
