City Visitors

Last evening my mom's sister and her husband arrived for a visit. It is always so special to have out-of-town family come since they all live far away. Last night after everyone had looked over the freshly planted garden, we had dinner together and then celebrated Aunt Maureen and Uncle Bob's 29th wedding anniversary.

Early this morning we set off for a visit to Silver Dollar City.

First on the list of things to do once we arrived was to see the Chinese acrobats. They were absolutely amazing!!!

All my single girl friends will get a kick out of this. Does anyone think I should become a member of eharmony.com and post this picture? Hehe. NOT!

The pottery shop there is one of my favorite places to browse. Rush found this cup that she wanted.

Then she found this one that she thought I should have. Grrrr. Little sisters. :)

Even though it was only in the mid-70s and cloudy, a couple in our party decided to go on a water ride. Nans ended up being the most sorry. :) Although Uncle Bob did determine that his plastic ziplock bag makes an excellent wallet.

Taking a break midday in some rocking chairs.

Well, I'd love to say something about this photo, but what can I say? The Red Hat Society has nothing on us!!

Riding Wildfire. Dad, Nans, and I are in the third row from the back. Dad's arm is hanging out on the side.

Here were are at the very back!

Getting ready to depart from the train station.

Mom was held-up by one of the "bad guys". :)

Our train conductor with the bandits.

We finished off the day with a meal at Ryans. It was a fantastic day!! We're so happy that we have a fun aunt and uncle!!!
